Our Mission

Our team is dedicated to creating an accessible device capable of studying neurons in order to revolutionize patient-specific treatment plans for individuals suffering from epilepsy.

Clinical Necesssity

One major problem with epilepsy is that the current treatment methods are too general and may lead to many unwanted consequences. The diagnostic process for epilepsy treatment uses tests such as blood tests, electroencephalogram (EEG) tests, CT scans, and MRI scans. However, these tests do not provide the necessary information for more in-depth patient-specific care. In addition, current microelectrode arrays on the market have too many unnecessary functions and are often too expensive. This makes it difficult for researchers and medical professionals to have access to precision-guided tools to diagnose and treat epilepsy. The NeuroDetect Microelectrode Array addresses this need for a more affordable and accessible way to study epilepsy.
